Monthly Friendly Competitions
We choose a specific golf course for our members to focus on playing each month called “The Course of the Month.” You can connect and play with other members to be social and if you want to input your score then it’s up to you. If you do plan to use your score please follow the simple rules below to be fair. Our goal is just to get our members to play more golf together forging new connections so we don’t care if you compete or play for fun, just get out and play “The Course of the Month!”
Rules of the competition:
- Play the course 4 times within the month.
- Input your scores deducting your handicap.
- You can find your handicap using this link: Handicap Calculator
- You can move the ball 6 inches from the lie except when on the fringe or green.
- If the ball is in a hazardous area other than a bunker, you can lift and drop the ball within one club-length of the nearest point of relief, or play the ball as it lies.
- Have fun and don’t get too serious!
Our members can compete in a virtual golf tournament at a different course each month. Instead of playing the course four times in four consecutive days our aim is four times in the month. We will add up all four days score minus your handicap for each round to get a cumulative score just like they do on the PGA tour.
We urge members to participate together to enhance networking opportunities and establish new connections or golfing partners. Become a member and join the competition!
