Description
September 1st – December 31st, 2024 play at least four CGC outings and your cumulative points will determine your ranking. This league is run through the 18Birdies app with outings scheduled every 2 weeks on Saturdays beginning September 14th.
Scheduled outings (tournaments) until the end of 2024.
- September 14 – Outing
- September 28 – Outing
- October 12 – Outing
- October 26 – Outing
- November 9 – Outing
- November 23 – Outing
- December 7 – Outing
- December 21 – Outing
Format: Stroke play with net score. The 18Birdies app will use its handicap calculation to even out the playing field.
Scoring:
- 1st place = 5 points
- 2nd place = 4 points
- 3rd place = 3 points
- 4th place = 2 points
- 5th place = 1 point
Purse money:
$35 of the $50 entry fee is added to the purse and the cash distributions go as follows:
- 1st place = 50% of purse
- 2nd place = 25 % of purse
- 3rd place = 15% of purse
- 4th place = 6% of purse
- 5th place = 4 % of purse
The more golfers the larger the purse payouts!
The courses: chosen at least 7 days in advance. Communicated via email, social media, and messaging.
Timeframe: You have until December 31st to attend and log your scores of four courses using the 18Birdies app.
Rules: You must use the 18birdies app and follow regular golf rules while playing and no mulligans
18Birdies app: A code will be given to you after enrollment by the CGC Director to be added to the tournament in the 18Birdies app.
Outings: CGC will schedule outings labeled tournaments in the 18Birdies app.
